German auto companies will be noticeably absent from the North American International Auto Show next week, when the show kicks off for its last January run in Detroit. But Automotive News Editor-In-Chief Keith Crain says domestic companies, along with a strong Asian lineup, will take center stage and the show will pack plenty of excitement.
